Christmas Highlights

I am thoroughly enjoying the Christmas season and holidays this year.  Although my December Daily is in a pile on my desk, the baking still not quite all done, I am taking a stress free approach this year.  It will get done...in time.  For now I am enjoying Christmas music online through North Pole Radio, the Christmas tree and a cup of hot coffee...and thinking about braving the mall again for some Boxing Week sales...hmmm....



The introduction of Starbucks Holiday Decor is one of my little Christmas highlights...it can't be Christmas without a Gingerbread Latte or Peppermint Mocha.

 

The UAH Foundation's Festival of Trees is one of my favourite events in the city...it really gets me in the Christmas mood!

 

I bought some Angel Chimes this year. My grandparents always had them out over Christmas and it brings back so many memories of them.

 

We cut back on our Christmas cards this year, but still quite a stack nonetheless...

 

Our tree this year...the theme this year seems to be birds as we keep collecting more each year...but I have since heard our feathered friends are trendy this year for Christmas decor!

 I have also been thinking of my One Little Word for 2012.  Last year it was Motivate...although I haven't quite decided, I am thinking between Rejuvenate, Transformation and Vitality.  I am leaning towards Vitality or something related.
