This is a bit late, but it is always wonderful to see the progress of your garden. These pictures are from late May early June. This year I am moving things around, adding some more perennials and trying out some new things too. Will have to snap some new pictures of my garden now that it is early July!
Now that summer is here, I have decided to take a bit of a break from scrapbooking, but I am already missing it, so this is a good sign that I will be eager to sit at my desk and create again soon. For now, I am going to concentrate on taking pictures so I have lots of material to work with into the fall and winter.

| Fresh from the greenhouse! |
| I think Poppies are becoming one of my favourite flowers. They are so delicate and come in a wide range of colours. |
| Saw this guy and I had to buy him!! |
| Dahlias...I have had them in my garden every year for the last few years and never grow tired of them. I think I am going to try to dig up the tubers in the fall and plant them in the spring...hopefully they would come back! |
| A very early picture of my vegetable boxes...I have already harvested several radishes and the tomatoes have grown almost beyond the cages now! |
| We are trying hanging strawberries this year, and was able to pick three off the plant and eat them yesterday. |
| I have a soft spot for blue flowers...hydrangea, delphinium, morning glory, forget-me-nots and now this beautiful nolana! |
| My herb boxes on the deck right outside my kitchen...so handy to run out and snip some fresh herbs while cooking. |
Other projects on the go are to move the "secret garden" over to the other side of the garage. Before we had a garage, I planted several shrubs and shade plants along the edge of the concrete pad. Now we can't enjoy them...so we are creating a new garden on the opposite side of the garage. A lot of work, but it will look wonderful.
I will have a scrapbooking post on Tuesday!
SFTIO is having a blog hop to celebrate their 3rd anniversary...be sure to check back to win some prizes!!

Oh, you devious blogger, you.... you know how to suck me right in from flying through my Google Reader, never pausing to leave a comment, but then I saw your flowers..... Sigh. Gorgeous. Thanks for making me pause to "smell" them. :)
